EASTWINDMODELS GEMINI is a small electric twin powered by two GWS geared motors. It is a smooth and stable model that flies very scale like from small flying sites.
The GEMINI is shown here operating from a school bus turnaround at our local school yard. The plane accelerates instantly, tracks absolutely straight and gets off pavement quickly in 30-40 feet. Flight times are in the seven minute range with eight 1100mah HECELLS.
The plans are very detailed and show the use of two different GWS motor/gearbox combos. The Gemini is designed to be easily serviced. The motors are removed simply by pulling one screw and the nacelles themselves are removable. The plane is designed to be operated with or without landing gear. We recommend building it with the gear as it is easily removed or replaced in minutes.
